Socially Responsible Investment ("SRI") is one of the major policy drivers of Leveraged Green Energy. Our business plan and investment strategy combine highly attractive financial returns with technologies and projects designed to maintain and improve the environmental balance. Our projects are also designed to promote business transparency and good governance in fast developing regions and emerging markets where successful positive examples should become benchmark models for future business growth.

LGE is focused on a multi-faceted socially responsible investment approach: renewable energy projects in areas that require local alternative energy generation; cutting edge technologies that significantly improve operating efficiencies; and, strategic alliances with original equipment manufacturers that equally support socially responsible investment objectives.

• Our hydro technology is run-of-the-river and/or matrix technology and it does not have a major effect on the surrounding fauna or flora. There is no large flooding impact nor relocation of the environment. It is largely self-contained turbine generation placed directly in the river or outlet with an extremely small footprint on the shoreline.
   
• The wind technology is specifically designed for locations away from the sensitive coastline or the shallow seabeds. We look for low to mid-level mountain elevations, away from national parks, away from endangered species, and away from the migratory bird paths.
   
• The biomass and waste-to-energy technology is efficient energy generation from alternative sources. It is also a choice solution for the complete destruction and molecular dissociation of waste materials as well. This process is totally compliant with the most stringent US and EU Clean Air and Water Acts as well as having the ability to reclaim existing landfills.
   
• Solar follows the same logic as the other renewable energy projects with the additional intention of being co-located with a previous operating project in wind or hydro. This approach will minimize the footprint of our projects on the environment and effectively create the equivalent of a Renewable Energy Park.
